When emotions escalate, family law cases become harder
than they need to be.

Hi, I'm Marg Lange.I work alongside family law professionals to help clients regulate emotions, reduce conflict, and communicate more constructively so matters progress with less friction and better outcomes.

What you’re likely seeing in practice

Family law matters are increasingly shaped by emotional dynamics not just legal issues.

This often shows up as:

  • Clients reacting impulsively under stress

  • Escalating co-parenting conflict

  • Delays caused by emotional reactivity

  • Difficulty keeping conversations focused and productive

  • Children being drawn into unresolved tension

  • High emotional load placed on legal teams

These challenges don’t always require more legal work.
They often require better emotional regulation support.

The legal process is only ONE part of the equation

Even with strong legal guidance, outcomes can be slowed or compromised when clients are emotionally overwhelmed.

These sessions help clients:

  • Recognise and regulate emotional triggers

  • Communicate more effectively under pressure

  • Reduce reactive decision-making

  • Stay focused on child-centred outcomes

  • Engage more constructively in legal processes

This is not therapy. It is practical emotional skill-building that supports better legal engagement.

When clients are dysregulated, they tend to:

  • Misinterpret communication

  • Escalate conflict unnecessarily

  • Struggle to follow structured advice

  • Prolong resolution timelines

This creates frustration for both clients and legal teams.Introducing evidenced based Tuning into Kids Emotion Coaching for Parents -with Marg LangeI deliver structured, skills-based emotional regulation and co-parenting workshops designed specifically for adults navigating separation and family transition.

Grounded in evidence

My work is informed by established emotional intelligence and parenting frameworks, including Tuning into Kids, and translated into practical, real-world application. Its also guided by my own lived experience as a divorced single parent and then a re-partnered parent in a blended family. The focus is not theory it is practical behaviour change in high-pressure situations.
